The Generated Song
This week, I tried generating a pop punk version of Maniac. The lyrics I entered were slightly altered:
You call me Maniac?! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Let’s Play!
The resulting song sounded like a slapstick rip-off of the intro to Sum41’s No Reason, which made me laugh. I wanted to use this song, but the intro and beyond weren’t great, so I chose the following song, which has a Pop Punk feel to it and a good balance. It’s still a SUM41-esque song.
