Overview
I’m still tied up with game development and lack material to write about, so this week I’m once again showcasing a track created with Suno. I’m hoping that if I keep pushing hard through the end of the year, I’ll see some light at the end of the tunnel and be able to shift the tone a bit starting early next year.
Like the previous track, the lyrics for this song were inspired by the image of an angel character from an RPG. Although the lyrics had been written quite some time ago, I had put the project on hold because Suno wasn’t generating a melody that matched my vision. I had a hunch it should be thrash metal, so I kept using style descriptions to that effect without success; however, when I tried generating it with a standard “pop-rock” style description, the result was a track I was happy with. I am sharing that version here. The lyrics are as follows.

The generated track is as follows. It has a bit of a metal vibe, so I think I’ll try creating a version rearranged to lean more towards metal at some point.
