Overview
I generated anime-style songs with female vocals for rounds 21 and 22, but this time I’ll try creating a song that sounds like a battle theme from a video game. I kept entering vague prompts that sounded like what I wanted, but the results were hit-or-miss—some songs were just so-so, while others sounded like the opening theme to a period drama (or like enka sung by a gruff old man)—and I just couldn’t find a track I really liked. I started to feel that fully automated generation had its limits, so I decided to drastically rewrite some lyrics that seemed somewhat usable and generate the track by specifying the Style Description myself.
There was a song themed around a surprise attack with a melody that sounded like enka—I thought, “This is a no-go”—but the lyrics somehow reminded me of the Battle of Okehazama, so I rewrote them to fit that vibe. I felt the song’s vibe was similar to B’z, so I decided to use the same Style Description as in “無能ども、お前らのせいだ (You Incompetents, It’s All Your Fault.)” The generated song turned out to be a rock track with a touch of madness, and I feel like it would fit well with something like Nobunaga’s Ambition. I was planning to name the song “Okehazama” as well.
However, after generating the song, I did a quick search on the Battle of Okehazama and realized something rather shocking. I had this vague image of a battle taking place in the middle of a late-night storm, but it seems the actual battle took place just after noon—it was a battle in broad daylight. I had this image in my head of Nobunaga being woken up by an intelligence report while he was sleeping, saying, “We’ve won this battle,” dancing the Atsumori, and then rushing out immediately, while Imagawa Yoshimoto was holding a banquet (apparently this is fiction), so I just assumed it was a late-night battle. This image is reflected directly in the lyrics. Well, it’s a hassle to fix, and since no one can know for sure what actually happened historically, I decided to leave it as a fictional song. I gave up on naming the song “Okehazama” and opted for the more generic “Stake Everything” instead.

The lyrics I wrote are as follows.
The Lyrics
🎵 Stake Everything
[Verse 1]
Enemy lines below, shadows weigh like steel
They outnumber us, no way to retreat
Grit between my teeth, hide the trembling hands
Only this fire in my chest leads me ahead
[Pre-Chorus]
The signal to tear the night hasn’t come yet
I won’t accept a fate that ends right here
Hold my breath, erase every sound
Sharpen my mind for the killing strike
[Chorus]
Dive into the frontier, raise the flag of ambush high
Push on enemy lines, believe we’re born to win
Break the walls, let your life burn like a flame
Beyond this darkness—we’re stealing the dawn
[Verse 2]
One signal only—hesitation means death
Slip past their eyes, vanish in the rain
Blood on the stones, knees torn and bruised
If I fall back now, there is no future
[Pre-Chorus]
Heartbeat’s roaring, the world fades away
Crush down the fear, keep my eyes ahead
One step can change it, one move can break it
on this one moment, I’ll stake everything
[Chorus]
Dive into the frontier, take the general’s head
Push on enemy lines, believe we’re born to win
Break the walls, let your life burn like a flame
Beyond this darkness—we’re stealing the dawn
[Bridge]
Even if we fall, our names will remain
A chain of small flames will rewrite history
If they laugh at us—look them in the eye
Our will is stronger than despair
[Final Chorus]
Dive into the frontier, raise the flag of ambush high
Push on enemy lines, believe we’re born to win
Break the walls, let your life burn like a flame
Beyond this darkness—we’re stealing the dawn
Dive into the frontier, take the general’s head
Push on enemy lines, we were born for this fight
Victory’s there—we settle this battle right here
Until we grasp it, no one stops our attack
The Generated Song
The following song was selected from the generated tracks. While many rock songs are purely aggressive, this one has a melancholic atmosphere with a touch of aggression, which I think gives it a feel similar to a battle song from a Japanese video game.
