This Week’s Suno AI Gacha 25

Music

Overview

Lately, I’ve been making some of anime-style songs, and I think I’ll make another anime-style song this time as well. The reason is simply that, once I’ve made progress on the improvements to “Exotic Poker,” I’ve vaguely started thinking about making a version of the poker app that uses moe characters generated by an AI aimed at otaku, and I’m in the mood to make a song for that.

I often watch gaming videos on YouTube, and perhaps because of that, compilation videos of VTubers frequently appear in my recommendations. For some reason, videos of Houshou Marine often pop up, and I’ve started to remember some of her jokes. Based on her background and activity period, the person behind the avatar is probably around 30 years old, but she insists on being 17, which is a common joke. I’m not sure if this is a joke unique to Houshou Marine, or if it’s a standard joke used by many female VTubers, but this time I used this joke as a prompt in Suno AI to generate lyrics, and then made some simple corrections to create the lyrics. If you want the Japanese version, please refer to the link below.

The lyrics I wrote are as follows. The lyrics are rather long, but the song itself is very upbeat and fast-paced, so it can be finished in less than 3 minutes.

The Lyrics

🎵 Still Seventeen

[Verse 1]

Hey there, logging in again tonight
Polite little smile, acting innocent, right?
But behind the screen I’m cool and composed
Age talk? Haha… that topic’s closed

Profiles are decorations anyway
Truth gets filtered every single day
“If I’m seventeen,” I softly say
Then everybody freezes for a sec, okay?

[Pre-Chorus]

Hey, don’t look too close
Don’t count with your fingers now
Complicated grown-up things
Are forbidden somehow

Look at me
Get confused
Sweet little grin
You’re trapped, you lose

[Chorus]

“I’m seventeen,” that’s what I say
“I’m seventeen,” don’t look away
Even if you know it’s fake
You still love the game we play

“I’m seventeen,” that’s what I say
“I’m seventeen,” every day
That awkward look upon your face
Is my favorite thing, okay?

[Verse 2]

Figures lined up all across my room
I know every trend from way back too
But when I act like “just a kid”
The whole chat starts losing it

Tiny tease with a hidden blush
Acting cold but talking too much
If you call me “big sis” once
I’ll puff my cheeks and throw a punch

[Pre-Chorus]

Hey, don’t stop just yet
Keep me waiting like that
The tail of my secret
Stays out of your grasp

Look at me
Make me melt
Say my name
Don’t ask for help

[Chorus]

“I’m seventeen,” that’s what I say
“I’m seventeen,” don’t look away
Even if you know it’s fake
You still love the game we play

“I’m seventeen,” that’s what I say
“I’m seventeen,” every day
That awkward look upon your face
Is my favorite thing, okay?

[Bridge]

Late-night posting
Voice a little more sincere
Swallowing the real number
Before it can appear

Selfish like a little child
Pretending I’m so strong
But somewhere underneath it all
I just want you along

[Final Chorus]

“I’m seventeen,” that’s what I say
“I’m seventeen,” don’t fade away
Even if you know the truth
Please keep looking at me the same

“I’m seventeen,” that’s what I say
“I’m seventeen,” every day
Please find the version of myself
That never learned to change

“I’m seventeen,” that’s what I say
“I’m seventeen,” anyway
That awkward look upon your face
Still makes me wanna stay

The Generated Song

I selected the best song from among several that I generated. This time, I chose the English version because it had a good tempo and I personally liked it, so I selected the English version and then chose the corresponding Japanese version. By the way, the images used for the video thumbnail and the featured image on this page were generated with ChatGPT for the first time in a while, and I was surprised at how much the accuracy has improved. About six months to a year ago, they were generated with an image generation algorithm called DALL-E, which I often used for the featured images on this blog, but recently I felt they weren’t quite up to par. It seems that GPT-Image2 has been replaced and is producing better images, so I’m thinking of using it again.

In addition to YouTube videos, I’ve also been using an AI service to create music videos, but I’d been putting them aside because I wasn’t entirely satisfied with them. However, this time it seemed to turn out reasonably well, so I decided to use the music video as a YouTube video. It would be great if I could easily create music videos using an AI service.
