Lately, I have been generating tracks that sound like anime or game music, envisioning them as potential background music for an RPG I plan to develop in the future. For the next few installments, I intend to create songs—including lyrics—centered around the theme of elves. Elves are a fictional race from Norse mythology, and they are generally considered to be akin to the seirei (nature spirits) found in Japanese folklore. In Japanese games, they are often depicted as green-clad characters associated with elements like wind or earth. In terms of the stereotypical image of an elf, it would probably be around:
- They are characterized by long, pointed ears and possess an appearance considered beautiful by human standards (strikingly handsome men and beautiful women).
- Longevity
- Living as if hidden in the forest.
- Use magic that manipulates the forces of nature.
When trying to give the lyrics a distinctive character, keywords like appearance, longevity, magic, and the forest naturally come to mind. For these lyrics, I decided to focus on appearance, centering the song on an elf who is obsessively fixated on their own beauty. The resulting lyrics are as follows.
